Rutgers Class Commuter Checker
Find out if you can make it between campuses using the bus
Add your classes for the day in order. We check the gap between each pair of back-to-back classes against walking, waiting, and riding time.

How this works
How does the checker decide?
For each pair of back-to-back classes it compares the gap between them to the time you need: walking to the stop, waiting for the bus, riding, and walking to class. If both classes are on the same campus it only uses your walking time.
Why does my campus matter for where I live?
Every campus change costs you a bus wait and a ride. If most of your classes are on one campus, living near it can save real time each week.
Are the ride times exact?
No. They are rough averages and change with traffic, time of day, and route. You can edit the ride time for any hop, and adjust your wait and walking pace under "Adjust my pace".
